ASSISTANT PROJECT MANAGER / PROJECT MANAGER

Job Description

  • Overall-in-charge of the operations of projects/maintenance term contracts undertaken by the Company.
  • Build and maintain an effective operations team.
  • Responsible in exploring, studying, pricing and tendering of future project/maintenance term contracts to be undertaken by the company.
  • Develops strategic plan by studying technological and financial opportunities; presenting assumptions; recommending objectives.
  • Accomplishes subsidiary objectives by establishing plans, budgets, and results in measurements; allocating resources; reviewing process; making mid-course corrections.
  • Builds company image by collaborating with customers, government, community organizations, and employees; enforcing ethical business practices.
  • Develops project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans; conferring with management.
  • Determines project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements; assigning personnel to phases and elements; reviewing bids from contractors.
  • Determines project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards, completing technical studies; preparing cost estimates.
  • Determines project schedule by studying project plan and specifications, calculating time requirements; sequencing project elements.
  • Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities; resolving problems.
  • Controls project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and plan and schedule changes; recommending actions.
  • Controls project costs by approving expenditures; administering contractor contracts.
  • Prepares project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends; recommending actions.
  • Any other duties in relation to the Company to be assigned from time to time.

Requirements

  • Min 5-8 years relevant experience in A&A / M&E works.
  • Project management, ms office
  • Possess diploma/degree in M&E / Civil Engineering or equivalent.
  • Possess good management and supervisory skills
  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • Proven track record in the Construction industry
  • Computer literate
Project Engineer (M&E)

Job Description

  • Assist project manager for site coordination & supervision work, to monitor and report project progress daily.
  • Maintain and monitor project deadlines as per the work schedule
  • Coordinate all works on sites
  • Strong interpersonal, communication & negotiation skills as you will work closely with clients and suppliers to ensure effective delivery within the expected time frame, costing, and quality objectives.
  • Ensure projects are working within timelines and budget
  • Carry out a site inspection
  • Ensure Project Documentation is properly managed
  • Attending site meetings
  • Able to read plans & drawings and manage a few projects concurrently.
  • Any other duties as assigned

Qualification and Experience

  • Diploma or above in M&E Engineering related disciplines.
  • MUST have min 2 years of working experience as Project Engineer in construction industry in Singapore.
  • Should have excellent communication skills & capability of coordinating with clients, consultants, Contractors & Vendors.
  • Good at multitasking
  • Self-motivated, energetic, team player with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
  • Good in MS Office and MS Project.
  • Has working experience in Meter / HDB projects is an advantage.
QUANTITY SURVEYOR (P&S/Building/M&E)

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for Progress Claims, Variation Orders, Final Accounts and Sub-contractor Progress Claims.
  • Taking off quantities, obtaining quotations from subcontractors and supplier
  • Provide estimates and evaluate costing to achieve competitive costing for tender submission
  • Estimate, develop & manage construction schedule, method of statement, and temporary plan
  • Able to Source and Liaise with Site Personnel, Suppliers, Subcontractors, Consultants and/or Architects for all project-related matters.
  • Any other duties that are deemed required to complete the works

Qualification and Experience

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree/ Post-Graduate Diploma/ Professional Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical), Quantity Surveying or Facilities/ Building-related.
  • MUST have at least 2 years of work experience as Quantity Surveyor in Singapore.
  • Competent in software skills MS Office and AutoCAD.
  • Should be meticulous, independent, highly motivated, results-oriented, good team player and able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Able to start work immediately is an advantage.
Project Coordinator (Building)

Job Responsibilities

  • Coordinate project activities and ensure all team members are working together effectively.
  • Utilize M&E knowledge to oversee the installation and coordination of mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure that all milestones are met on time.
  • Communicate regularly with stakeholders to provide updates and address any issues that may arise.
  • Manage project budgets and timelines to ensure projects are completed within budget and on schedule.

Qualification and Experience

  • Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architectural, Construction Management or a related field.
  • Prior experience working as a Project Coordinator in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, with a knowledge on mechanical and electrical systems will be added advantage.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and resolve conflicts effectively.
